STUDIO POLICY

Their one-year anniversary came & went. So did their five-year. Then they welcomed their first baby.

And still, their wedding album remained un-designed. Their photos were still living on my computer. Their precious wedding memories that they trusted me to capture were collecting digital dust.

For their sake, as well as mine, I wanted this couple to have their photos. I wanted them to flip through their album every time they cleaned the family room. I wanted their new baby to see mommy & daddy on the wall in their beautiful wedding clothes.

Placing expiration dates on products included in your wedding package was no easy decision. It’s not a ploy to get more money out of anybody. It’s simply an encouragement. I want you to move on with your married life, & when you do think of your wedding, it’s not “Oh, crap, I still haven’t picked out my album that I paid for.”

If you need an extension, all you have to do is ask.


I. Weddings/elopements

Not all products may be included in Client’s wedding or elopement package. See Miscellaneous paragraph at the bottom for additional items that may apply.

  1. ADDITIONAL PORTRAIT SESSION PRODUCTS

    • See Section II.

  2. USBs

    • Client will have 6 months from the day their wedding gallery is released to upgrade their USB in any way, otherwise I will mail the USB included in their original wedding package.

    • If Client is receiving only a portion of the total files delivered in the proofing gallery, I will pick out the photos I think Client would most like & mail those. After that, a new USB must be purchased if Client desires different photos.

    • If Client has moved & fail to inform me of their updated address, & I have already mailed the USB, & it is deemed lost in the mail after an agreed upon period of time, a new USB must be purchased by the Client at full & current price.

    • Client is responsible for making a back up of all photographs on USBs. I will make every attempt to keep archival copies of photos, but I cannot guarantee that they will be retained indefinitely. Backup copies are for client use only & may not be distributed to others.

  3. PRINTS

    • Client will have 6 months from the day their wedding gallery is released to redeem their photo print(s) included in their original wedding package, otherwise the print(s) will expire. 

    • After 6 months, the Client will be required to purchase a new print(s) at full & current price.

    • If Client has moved & fail to inform me of their updated address or confirmed the wrong address, & I have already ordered the print(s), & it is deemed lost in the mail after an agreed upon period of time, a new print(s) must be purchased by the Client at full & current price.

  4. ALBUMS

    • Client will have 6 months to order the album included in their original wedding package, otherwise the album will expire.

    • After 6 months, the Client will be required to purchase a new album at full & current price.

    • If Client has moved & fail to inform me of their updated address or confirmed the wrong address, & I have already ordered the album, & it is deemed lost in the mail after an agreed upon period of time, a new album must be purchased by the Client at full & current price.

  5. ​PROOFING GALLERY

    • The Client’s proofing gallery will remain live for 6 months from the day their wedding gallery is released. The Client will continue to be able to view photos & purchase prints throughout this time.

    • After 6 months, I will archive the Client’s gallery.

    • There will be a $150 reinstatement fee which will be a credit towards a $200 minimum print order. The Client will have another 30 days until the gallery expires again.​


II. PORTRAITS INCLUDED IN WEDDING packages

(bridals, engagements, post-wedding)

Not all products may be included in Client’s wedding or elopement package.

  1. USBs 

    • Client will have 6 months from the day their wedding gallery is released to upgrade their portrait session USB in any way, otherwise I will mail the USB included in their original wedding package.

    • If Client is receiving only a portion of the total files delivered in the proofing gallery, I will pick out the photos I think Client would most like & mail those. After that, a new USB must be purchased if Client desires different photos.

    • If Client has moved & fail to inform me of their updated address, & I have already mailed the USB, & it is deemed lost in the mail after an agreed upon period of time, a new USB must be purchased by the Client at full & current price.

(family, seniors, bridals, engagements, post-wedding, ETC.)

    • If Client has moved & fail to inform me of their updated address, & I have already mailed the USB, & it is deemed lost in the mail after an agreed upon period of time, a new USB must be purchased by the Client at full & current price.

    • If Client is receiving only a portion of the total files delivered in the proofing gallery, I will pick out the photos I think Client would most like & email those. After that, new digital files must be purchased if Client desires different photos.

    • Client is responsible for making a back up of all photographs/digital files. I will make every attempt to keep archival copies of photos, but does not guarantee that they will be retained indefinitely. Backup copies are for client use only & may not be distributed to others.

  3. PRINTS

    • Client will have 6 months from the day their gallery is released to redeem their print(s) included in their original agreement, otherwise the print(s) will expire.

IV. Miscellaneous

  1. CONTEST PRIZE PRINTS

    • Client will have 30 days from the day the winner is announced to redeem their photo print, otherwise the print will expire. 

    • If Client has moved & fail to inform me of their updated address or confirmed the wrong address, & I have already ordered the print(s), & it is deemed lost in the mail after an agreed upon period of time, a new print(s) must be purchased by the Client at full & current price.

  2. REVIEW PRINTS

    • Client will have 30 days from the day the review is written to redeem their print(s), otherwise the print(s) will expire.

    • If Client has moved & fail to inform me of their updated address or confirmed the wrong address, & I have already ordered the print(s), & it is deemed lost in the mail after an agreed upon period of time, a new print(s) must be purchased by the Client at full & current price.

  3. WEDDING REGISTRY

    • Any money received via Wedding Registry will expire the day the Client’s gallery or galleries expire & cannot be redeemed after the expiration date.

    • Registry money will not be refunded to the Gifter, nor will it be gifted as cash to the Client.
