This brand new hotel! I visited last week & didn’t realize it had opened just a few days prior. How exciting!

Zanzibar

The day I visited was for a networking event &, while I spent a good bit of time upstairs at the Zanzibar on the 7th floor rooftop, I was too distracted to take many photos! I’m sorry! Just take my word for it that it has such a fun & tropical atmosphere & would turn any bachelorette party into a local tropical getaway. I’m told there’s a pool up here but I must have run past it on my way to catch up with the group touring the hotel. :(

Please forgive the slightly dying appearance of the greenery. Austin was still recovering from our February freeze!

The Lobby

This lobby! I’m drawn to huge windows & this lobby was no shortage. I can just imagine doing bridal photos here! In addition to the Zanzibar upstairs, the Corinne restaurant & Loaf & Vine coffee shop are both located in the lobby.

Waterloo Ballroom

While the room was set up for a corporate conference, it was still easy to see the potential for weddings. Can you just imagine how hanging greenery on the massive light fixtures would transform this room?? A fun detail that was pointed out to us was the gold accents above the doors that are only seen at certain angles. Fun fact: I only saw half of the room. Want to invite 600 guests? Go for it. You’ll have space leftover! The hallways surrounding the ballroom are massive as well. I can just imagine what portraits in these hallways could look like!

Suites

While the rooms I saw seemed a bit on the small side, the floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking views of the water & surrounding blocks made up for that.
