laura {bridals} the inn at quarry ridge
The forecast was grim. All week Laura & I texted back & forth frantically trying to decide what we would do if it rained. The day got closer & the forecast got worse. Laura had chosen to do her bridal portraits at her wedding venue, The Inn at Quarry Ridge, & since they had a lovely porch & a spacious indoor spot, we decided to just go for it.
As I drove in from Austin, it was overcast. As I pulled into the driveway at the venue, it started raining. It rained while Laura got her makeup done. It rained while we got her dressed. We stepped outside, & I kid you not. It stopped raining. The sun even came out a little bit. Then, it poured as soon as we finished.
Wedding miracles. I love them.
Laura's dress (& Laura, of course) was gorgeous. The right amount of lace, classiness, & elegance. We were also grateful for the beads on her veil that helped weigh it down in the gusts of wind. Beads & hairspray. Two amazing things.
Yup. Those are storm clouds!
