lauren&jared {wedding} rock lake ranch, anderson, texas
Where to start with this wedding? I could tell you about how gorgeous the venue was. I could tell you about how beautiful all of the flowers turned out. I could tell you about Lauren's incredible yellow diamond engagement ring. I could tell you how absolutely breathtaking the cake was & the fact that it was homemade. I could also tell you about how badly it stormed. But, I mainly want to talk about how happy everybody was, despite the horrendous weather.
Lauren & Jared were planning on an outdoor wedding which obviously didn't happen. But, they did not let that dampen their spirits. All day long they would laugh & shrug with a What can you do? Happy brides & grooms make for the best of photos. And that makes me happy.
I can't stop looking at Lauren's gorgeous fall wedding bouquet complete with lotus pods & pheasant feathers.
We had just finished up the girls' photos & the guys were meandering out to the porch for their photos when lightning started striking. So, we had to finish up indoors. Thankfully Christmas lights were already out!
Many thanks to the workers of Rock Lake Ranch for working so hard to keep us dry!
The Sophisticates kept the dance floor full the rest of the night. Live bands are just so much fun!
Thankfully there was a small break in the storm right when Lauren & Jared were making their getaway. Sparklers for the win!
