I felt like I was in a different city. I’ve lived here for almost 10 years now & these two locations were a first for me!

When Lauren suggested we do their engagement photos at the Capitol Mall in downtown Austin as well as the Blanton, I admit I was stumped with what “mall” she was talking about. I finally remembered a ton of construction when I was at the Bullock Museum last year, & my jaw dropped when I arrived a few weeks ago for their engagement session & saw this beautiful large open space that gorgeously shows off the Capitol. We hung out here for a while as well as the Blanton Museum before heading off to another location for more skyline photos.

Lauren & Matt both work in this area, so it was a location that helped tell their story as a couple. Love that!
