I think I’ve changed my mind.

I used to say bridal portraits were my favorite part of a wedding, but Del changed my mind. When a groom-to-be calls me with as much excitement & enthusiasm as Del did, it was so contagious that I was just as nervous & excited as he probably was.

The couple was supposed to be in Italy with friends, but surprise surprise, they didn’t make it. I guess a trip to Austin is almost as exciting.

Del decided on Mt. Bonnell & it worked out splendidly even if it was over 100 degrees. The 50+ people that were gathered to watch the sunset with them got way more than they expected, so the applause when Lindsey screamed Yes! made it so much more fun.

I don’t know the story Del told Lindsey to get her to climb a mountain without their friends to watch the sunset, but she was not suspecting anything!
