I’ll never forget my first styled shoot several years ago. As I was heading out the door, my new husband asked me, “Explain to me again what you’re doing?” I excitedly described how vendors love to come together to showcase new ideas & trends to give inspiration to future brides.

“…So y’all are just playing dress up?”

YES!

What a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Today’s styled wedding shoot was dreamed up & organized by Kelsea with Touch of Whimsy. The rich blues & purple velvet chairs pulled out the subtle purple in the florals & totally complimented the blue jewels provided by Nicole Mera. One of my favorite details was the hand painted acrylic name plates in varying shades of pink, blue, & purple by Calli Rosa. Rose gold utensils? Yes, please! I’d love to eat that adorable little cake from Luxe Appel with those! The little blueberry tarts were divine, let me tell ya! The train on Kendall’s dress was such a fun shape & design that it almost stole the show.
