He walked up nervously to the mic at the center of the dance floor with a guitar & told his son, the groom, “Be careful what you wish for.” Colin had jokingly told his dad to play the guitar for the mother/son dance, only his dad didn’t know how to play the guitar at all.

So he learned. And he surprised everyone.

The logistics involved for this wedding took a bit out of me, but it was so worth the effort. With three different venues involved that day, everything went off without a hitch thanks to a responsible (& super fun) bridal party & the amazing Austin wedding planner Jennifer with Altar Ego Weddings who kept all of us vendors on time. This was my first wedding at the Bob Bullock Museum & I was excited & very intrigued to see what it would look like. It’s amazing how the draping transformed their spaces into the perfect backdrop for Nicole & Colin’s ceremony & reception.

Nicole & Colin, wow. What a party you guys threw! It was the absolute best start to 2022. From the gorgeous blue dresses & red bouquets to the ‘57 Rolls Royce, every detail was so perfect & flawless. You guys are beautiful & wonderful. Happy wedding day!
