I was recently asked what my favorite type of wedding to photograph was, & I have to admit that that question stumped me. I think she meant what style of wedding, but I couldn’t really come up with an answer. All I could say was that I didn’t have a favorite. While every wedding consists of mostly the same “events”, so many choices go into making one’s wedding unique.

While the girls got ready at a beautiful historic home off site, Kristen & Josh got married on family property in Goliad, Texas, & hosted the party in the barn. I saw the ‘before’ photo of the barn & they did a fabulous job of turning it into the perfect venue for their guests. They added a chandelier, hung drapes & twinkle lights, & my favorite detail was the vise that held the popcorn bag. Despite the literal freezing temperatures outside, the inside was nice & cozy.

Kristen & Josh, your wedding was unique, just like you two. I pray many happy blessings over you & many many trips to Disney throughout your marriage.
